DARE TO BARE

The Wine Show's charity photo-competition in aid of breast cancer charities, "Wine Laid Bare" is back for its fourth sizzling & sexy year!

Last years competition saw well over 140 individual entries and those participating had their talent showcased across a broad spectrum of printed and electronic media. 12 lucky winners were also showcased in a 2012 Calendar that was sold (again to raise further money for breast cancer) at The Wine Show.

Amateur and Professional photographers alike are invited to submit their photographic interpretations of the theme "Wine Laid Bare".

Whilst almost all of the entries to date have featured those "daring to bare", entrants can interpret the theme however they choose. All we ask is that no nipples or “front bottoms” appear in the photos.  Bums are OK

The 12 best entries then feature in next years Calendar (2013).

The 2012 round, to feature in the 2013 Calendar, opens on February 9th 2012. The competition closes on March 30th 2012 at midnight. The 2013 Calendar will be available for sale at The Wine Show Jo'burg, May 4th to 6th 2012 at the Coca-Cola Dome.

To Enter you must first register by emailing samantha@wineshow.co.za . You will be assigned an entry number and provided with banking details for the R50 entrance fee per photo entered (proceeds to cansa.org.za).

COMPETITION RULES

1. Your entry must be entirely your own original work, not defame anybody nor breach any copyright

2. If your photograph features any recognizable person or people, a signed model release form must be obtained for the image to be entered into the competition and to be published online and in all media as required. The onus relies solely with the photographer to obtain a signed model release form for each submission of his work

3. No models under 18 years of age

4. This competition is not restricted to S.A. residents.

5. Competition opens 9th February 2012

6. Competition closes on 30th March 2012 at midnight. All entries must be received on or before this date to be considered for this competition.

7. Only one image may be entered per entry.

8. Entry Fee R50 per entry.

9. All entries to the competition must be supplied in digital format and must comply with the full set of competition rules.

10. Images may be in colour or black and White.

11. To enter the competition you must first email: samantha@wineshow.co.za to register.

12. Photographs may be digitally enhanced.

13. You must be the sole author of the copyright in the photograph(s) entered. By entering a photograph(s) into The Wine Shows "Wine Laid Bare" competition, you agree to grant a royalty-free non-exclusive license to TWS Media cc (The Wine Show), its affiliates and sponsors of the competition for the photograph(s) entered to be published in connection with the competition and the promotion thereof.

14. Judges will be appointed by The Wine Show. The judge's decision on all matters relating to the competition is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

15. Entries will not be acknowledged. Only winners will be contacted. The organizers accept no responsibility for entries lost via the internet or delayed after the closing date.

16. All entrants agree that any photograph they submit to the photographic competition may be used by The Wine Show for marketing and promotional purposes directly related to The Wine Show. This use may include publication in any publication, printed materials, or electronic media, such as but not limited to The Wine Show website, WineExtra magazine, books, calendars and gallery shows. Use may include publication of a sponsor publication.

17. All entrants agree to their photographs being reproduced in a calendar - the proceeds to the designated charity.

18. Any photograph used by The Wine Show/Wine Laid Bare shall carry a credit line to the photographer.

19. Winning photographers must agree to having their photograph taken for use by The Wine Show and their relevant sponsors

20. Rules may change or be modified from time to time without notice.

21. Strictly NO genitalia or nipples should be visible in the images.
